Is there a way to fix scratches on the inside glass due to sand without dismantling the tank?

Not worth the effort. Just pile the sand higher.

without breaking down the tank no not really but scratches a common and normal, only be concerned when you have lots or big scratches.

Once glass is scratched, it’s scratched. Only the tiniest and shallowest scratches can be buffed out but the tank has to be taken down first

It’s like having a new car. Eventually you’ll have other scratches and this one won’t bother you as much.
