Hey I was replacing the fleece in my filter rollers and noticed these little guys in the back of my AIO. Pretty neat little creatures that seem to be thriving in that spot.

Those are certainly tunicates! You can tell because each inhalent siphon (bigger holes) has an adjacent exhalent siphon (smaller holes), and the colony is made up of small individual 'nuggets'. They tend to be somewhat fleeting, you'll have a large population out of nowhere and in a month they'll disappear. Value them while they last, the little critters are the best part of this hobby.

Sweet! I had one for about 6 months but just now noticed the larger colony.

I’m getting a new tank in a month or so hopefully they have some small spores somewhere on my live rock.
