I completely agree, and was about to post that very thing. I would avoid feeding it anything large like silversides, as it can stress the anemone (difficult to digest and uneaten parts can cause water quality issues) and make things worse. I would stick with small chunks of shrimp, or blowing some mysis into its tentacles.

The chunk was very small. Smaller than a pencil eraser. But I'll change it to a chunk of krill or something. I have access to small grass shrimp at work. Would those work?

It's better to give small pieces, but the bones and scales are still difficult to digest. Glass shrimp would be good.
