Hello!
I’m new to marine aquariums and I just added my first corals.
I have a Fluval EVO 13.5, with an AI Prime light, Sicca 1.0 pump upgrade.
Added a Green Dragon Eye Zoa, a Yellow Submarine Favia and a GSP.
The Zoa and Favia seem to be doing fine, but the GSP is not doing great, still retracted and this morning I saw it was covered in a brown mucus which I removed easily with a turkey baster. I placed it in the back wall. I just added them 2 days ago. I know I should be patient, I just want to know if I’m doing something wrong that could be irreversible.
Thanks in advance for any advice you can share!

Hi Krista, thanks for the reply; it has reduced the mucus production but it still refuses to come out, all other corals seem happy.

It’s likely just settling into the tank, how different if the lighting at your LFS to your home aquarium?

Thanks for the reply; the lighting was significantly different, it was in a frag tank with Radeons shooting all blues no whites at all in a completely dark room. I have an AI Prime adjusted to 80% in UV, violets and blues, 4% green and red, 19% white, however those values are dropped to half since it's under "acclimation" mode for 30 days.

Update; the coral is not doing well, skin still bright purple, but some pieces have fallen of and they are "brittle" all my other corals are thriving, I really don't understand what happened here.
