Hello everyone,

I need a wooden-skin steel stand for a 168-gallon aquarium measuring 72L x 18W x 30H.

Could you please recommend a reputable company that manufactures such stands? Ideally, located in Texas or neighboring states.

Surprisingly, my internet search yielded very limited results.

Thank you in advance.

I live in Dallas and my friend makes steel stands. He builds most of the steel stands for the LFS around here.
As far as wood, I am a carpenter and can wrap it for you.
Some half inch plywood and inset magnets will be the way I go for my steel stand. Instead of doors the panels can be removed.

Hi Sleepingtiger,

Sorry, I was on vacation, just returned online.

How is it more convenient to contact you, via email or DM?I would like to calculate a quote for:
  1. Frame (steel or aluminum)
  2. Cladding with wood + countertop
Thank you.

Check out Planet aquariums. I ordered a custom 300 Gallon system from them and they made a metal stand with wooden magnetic panels... looks like wood with the flexibility of removing panels for maintenance.... its literally the best thing ever!
