Hey everyone, working on setting up a qt/hospital tank. I added 5 gallons from my dt and 15 gallons of ro water. I'll be adding some small rocks from my sump. How long before it's usable?

Depends on how you plan to maintain it. A completely uncycled tank can be used immediately if you plan to do large, frequent water changes. Are you planning to have filtration? What meds will you be using and what protocol do they require?

Probably water changes every other day. At least 25%. Most likely just copper for qt and any meds possibly needed for a sick fish. Heaven forbid I actually need to use it for that.
You can add bottled bacteria to help process the fish waste, or just test daily/get an ammo badge to monitor your water quality. Hospital/quarantine tanks are generally set up quickly and run for a limited time, so as long as you keep an eye on ammonia and do water changes as needed, you should be fine.
