Looking to setup Kalkwasser on my tank for the first time. I’m currently dosing 14ml of AFR and 6 ml of Red sea Alk. I’m planning on changing the red sea alk to kalkwasser According to the reef dosing calc thats 0.13 gal of limewater or 492 ml a day. I currently have a X1 doser head that allows for only 12 additions per day which would be a single addition of 41 ml of limewater. Would that be safe to add every 2 hours. If not what should i do instead like maybe purchase a different doser? Would love some help regarding this subject since i’m really new to it. Thank you guys!

Current parameters
alk- 9
calc - 435
Mg 1450
ph - 7.9-8.0

I see no problem adding 12 times per day. roughly 3-4 ml of kalk is really minimal.

I was just worried that adding 41 ml quickly would pose an issue as i've only seen people slowly dripping for dosing. Do you think i should increase the dosage then as this would lead to lower Benefits of the kalkwasser ph wise in a lower dose?

As long as it's not a tiny tank, and you are evaporating at least that much daily, that's ok. Mine is a 60 gallon and dose 110mls of kalk every 2 hours. I also use the X1 dosers, which are fine. Amazon store does the spare peristaltic tubing for when it wears out, which is relatively cheap.
