Bro wrong tool for the job.. 4-in angle grinder with cut off wheel. Those Dremel wheels are not up for the task..One side done I broke a couple blade so it will be finished tomorrow.
Yep. That's why it's being finished tomorrow.Bro wrong tool for the job.. 4-in angle grinder with cut off wheel. Those Dremel wheels are not up for the task.
I run two 4k Icecaps and yes sir, they push some water!!Holy snork this thing can push water.
Not at all welcome to the dream. Weekday size tank do you haveI just did the opposite, I just bailed on my LED's except for ramp up and ramp down and am now running T5's all day. I like the look so much more than my LED's! Also I can tell my tank is happier with more light and better spread.
Hope you don't mind me crashing your build thread
Need to run both at top of tank, both at 10%. May have to trun one to feed mode and then turn back on when other ramps down to get the "alternating"
Holy snork this thing can push water. I can only run one due to how much water it pushes. Running alt with just one its the only way I can run 10%. 20% and everything goes flying. Incredible.
If they way I'm running it is a problem please let me know. @Eagle_Steve
Thanks. I got them up backwards. I'll fix tonight after work. The 10% 2 2 2 works f.antastic. I had to move the Duncans where just getting creamed.Need to run both at top of tank, both at 10%. May have to trun one to feed mode and then turn back on when other ramps down to get the "alternating"
Set the like this.
Down arrow at 0
Up arrow at 10
all the other at 2 seconds.
This will only allow the motor to run for 6 seconds or so, as 2 seconds ramp up, 2 seconds running and 2 seconds ramp down. With both going, it should provide some nice flow, but not run long enough to really throw things around. You may have to play with the cages some to get them to where they just break the surface with a wave, as this will reduce actual velocity lower in the tank.
I ran those in a 75 that was mostly hammers/frogs with no issues. Just have to play with them a bit to get them to where they do not blow things around too much.
Yeah, where you had them is more for a larger leather than a duncan lol. Give them time to adjust and slowly work them back up. Mine are in SPS flow and grow like mad after doing that.Thanks. Ya. I stuck them there when flow was poor and didn't think of what whould happen with proper flow. Seriously impressed with the water these pumps move.Yeah, where you had them is more for a larger leather than a duncan lol. Give them time to adjust and slowly work them back up. Get these if you want to use the dremel instead of a cutoff wheel. They last much longer. One side done I broke a couple blade so it will be finished tomorrow.

I run a 75 Gallon DT (100 Total) in my Home office and I run a 150 (210 Total) at the shop that is being built now. I also run 900 Gallons at the FisHotel. I have one 205 Gallon QT system and 4 125 Gallon Observation Systems. So you can say I am pretty deep into this thing. Not at all welcome to the dream. Weekday size tank do you have
Add them all together and you got a big reef pond.I run a 75 Gallon DT (100 Total) in my Home office and I run a 150 (210 Total) at the shop that is being built now.
