Hey all, up for sale is a custom tank from Glasscages. Received this tank in December, and set it up in mid January of this year.
Asking $300 picked up in 11205
Specs:
48 x 18 x 10 ~37 gallons
Low Iron Front
2 holes: Drain on left rear, return on right rear. Drain is fit for a 1.5" bulkhead (I use the eshopps eclipse S) and return is fit for a 3/4 in setup.
Clear silicone
The tank is still up and running and won't be torn down until I receive the replacement tank (awaiting delivery now). The reason this tank is replaced is because I posted a review on R2R and the owner, Joe, reached out to replace it free of charge. You can read that thread here! https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/glass-cages-review.688949/#post-7083241
I was told that this tank will last 10+ years, but not 20 and that's why he wants to replace it. Especially with Glasscages overhauling and him being the new owner, they really are trying to gain traction back into the market. He said that it can be repaired by injecting silicon into the bubbles with a syringe and letting them cure for a few weeks if wanted. No issues on my end with this as it's running now.
