I've been meaning to become an active member of R2R for approximately 16 years... So let's see if we can't give this a go. We are coming into reefing season after all.

I currently have 3 tanks running. All of which are soft coral dominated. I am a firm believer in keeping livestock that you have the time for. I love keeping acropora and other SPS species but at this moment in time I only have time to "carefully neglect" a soft coral tank. I don't dose, test, or do anything special with these tanks. Other than the occasional water change, all I do is feed the fish and scrape the glass.

My 3 Tanks are all lit by Illumagic Pixels from Dalua International. I use cheap and cheerful Amazon special wavemakers. Although on my newest 55G tank I'm using Great White Wavemakers. For salt I use Aquaforest Reef Salt, and occasionally dose some AF Iodum. I LOVE all in one tanks and plan on building a large AIO peninsula when I finally move to a new house in the near future.

My Three Tanks:
Innovative Marine 40L
UNS 45A
55g Glass Tank with HOB Filter.

I'll post some photos and Livestock lists on the next post.

Sweet tanks! Motivation to get a softie tank up and running soon.
Oh you definitely should! I highly encourage it!! The plan is to eventually put all these tanks into one of your gorgeous R systems! A super softy tank!

A look at “The Reef Bar”. All three of my tanks are on display on a bar me and a friend built. The wrap needs cleaning up but who looks at the stand anyway?

Cleaned all my power heads today. They’re getting absolutely riddled with bubble algae and hair algae. Time to attack the problem.

Ordered a few things. Halloween urchin, tomini tang, and a filefish for some pesky aptasia that are starting to pop up!

Since ive set up the 55 gallon and moved the majority of my sarcophyton over to it I’ve been meaning to change the scape of the IM40L. I got a couple boxes of AF rock and I think today is the day we give it a shot! Cross your fingers!

Finally got around to it. Love the shapes and porosity of the AF rock. A bit too much contrast between the fresh rock and the existing but once this fills in it’s going to look great.

Before, after, and in between photos.

Some pictures of the UNS45A before scraping the glass. Impressed with how everything is growing in.
