Only one will work long-term, the coral catshark, Atelomycterus marmoratus. Even those can reach 25" long.

The Bali cat sharks are an option too. Hard to find. I’ve seen them mislabeled on LA DD and a friend important a bunch onto Canada so it is doable. Also the Halmahera epaulettes. Having worked with them, they are timid, and reclusive when compared to the PNG, speckled and common epaulettes. Smaller and thinner too. I had trouble putting any weight on these guys. Excellent for a smaller system because unlike the cat sharks they typically don’t swim and instead crawl. Plus they are tidepool sharks and used to tight spaces. ORA has a handful of adults but I think they have been unsuccessful, as have I , with breeding them.

A couple weeks old thread now, I know, but dimensions of the tank would be helpful for the shark people

Well if is a 600 gallon tank, and does not include a salt water pond. Then the most commonly available 600 gallon aquariums which would be suitable for keeping a species of small benthic shark would be either of the following.

A tank which is 10 feet long x 4 feet wide x 2 feet tall

A tank which is 8 feet long x 4 feet wide x 2.5 feet tall

Either tank would be a good choice for a trio(2 females, 1 male) of Coral Catsharks(Atelomycterus marmoratus).

Also a trio of Australian Marbled Catsharks(A. macleayi), Bali Catsharks, or Spotted Belly Catsharks would be excellent alternatives.

As for species of bamboos & epaulette - the following also would be good choices for either tank.

- Speckled Epaulette (Hemiscyllium trispeculare)
- Papuan Epaulette (H. hallstromi)
- Arabian Bamboo (Chiloscyllium arabicum)
- Grey Bamboo (C. griseum)
- White spotted Bamboo (C. plagiosum) - male only

For the 10' x 4' x 2' tank only

- female White-spotted Bamboo or a pair.
