Shep's 40 Gallon LPS Reef

Finished the stand and the lid! Used chalkboard paint for the front so I can just draw things on it :D the gap in the lid is for my HoB skimmer that I have.

I like your scape. I usually hate branch rock but you did a great job with it. Looks natural.

Looks great!

I had to build my screen top the same way, except mine has 3 cut outs in it for the light brackets. It didnt come out nearly as nice as yours. When I put the screen in it pulled it all out of plumb, any suggestions?

Looking great bud can't wait to see corals growing in it. Hopefully rest of move went as good as tank looks.

Thanks! Its hard to tell but the torch has purple/pink tips, have wanted one of these for a long time

Awesome the chalice is sweet. You learning the new dslr yet we just got ours so I'm starting to play with it.

Getting the hang of it but I don't have a macro lens so getting close up shots is difficult.

How do you like yours so far?

Haha I actually have close to 30 corals in the tank ......I'm just bad about taking pics :(

Just got it a couple days ago so haven't played with it a lot yet but I'm also looking for a macro lens lol. Have few nice shots of couple of the kids but learning to set up for blue lights still lol.

Yea that is the hardest part so far, the blue lights really mess with everything.
