I’m attempting to ship more corals, that being said, what size single use cold pack would work from uline? I have the shipping (insulated boxes) from them. I can get exact sizes if that matters.

I also know to keep the packs from directly touching the bags with coral.

I'm in Arizona and had similar considerations. After thinking about it though, I almost wondered if shipping from AZ to a cooler climate if the cold packs would over stress the corals? My thought was to precool the box to around 80° or a little cooler for a few days so the styrofoam soaks up that temperature before shipping. That should keep the packaging and everything inside at that temperature for at least a couple of hours. Shipping overnight, the box is likely going to cool down rather than heat up.

I received a shipment from Live Aquaria (I know, I know). It was 115° outside so I had it held at a UPS location. I got to the Walgreens less than an hour after they dropped it off and the water was below 60°. Both fish had froze to death early enough in the shipping that the water was already cloudy and smelled horrendous. I blame the cold pack.
