My recently acquired skunk cleaner shrimp (6-7 weeks ago), which was fine when I got it, now has very short and even antennas (around 2 cm). They don’t look ripped or torn so I figure this might be a molt problem ?

I read that iodine can help inverts molt. Would dosing Seachem Iodide help ?

Sorry I don’t have a picture, she hides in the rocks.

Thank you

The idea that shrimp need iodine in the water is not generally supported by evidence, despite the common idea among reefers. Not a single paper on aquaculture of shrimp suggests it is needed or useful that I have ever found.

But dosing iodide is a fine experiment in general. :)
