Prayers for a quick recovery. Being a dad of 3 I can relate to the stress of when one of your kids are sick. We recently went through a extended hospital stay for a perforated appendix with my 7 year old.

Hello everyone!! I certainly hope you are ALL doing great!! So...i was remembering back in my grade school days we used to have show and tell. It was a wonderful time once a week, or a month in class to bring in something that you were proud of and show it to your classmates and tell about it. I always enjoyed seeing and hearing what everyone was excited about their lives, as well as showing a thing or two of my own. I put this thread up to try to recapture a little of that excitement and happiness. We're all aquarists. We are all in this together. It is my personal belief that we should all be proud of what we have accomplished, as well as being happy for the accomplishments of others, kind of like family. That's one of the greatest things about Reef2Reef, we are a family here. This isn't a contest, it's purely for fun. The in-depth thought and creativity of the members of The Reef2Reef family have impressed me at every turn. I hope to see LOTS of beautiful pictures of y'all's spectacular aquatic achievements!! Thank you to everyone who participates!!

Beautiful setup!! your corals are really popping under that light!! My wife and I got into it thinking we have all the room we would ever need. Just under 6 months later we're looking at larger tanks as well. Is that a bow front 36?

Here's my 150 gallon mixed reef. Its coming up on the 1 year mark in September. Been a fun little ride with nuisance algea and hitchhikers but I wouldn't change anything.

Extraordinary!! It is phenomenal that you have been able to accomplish this in that short of a Time!!

It is a Fluval Flex 32.5 - thinking of Innovative Marine 70 or 100…trying to map out what I’ll need and be ready up front so I’m not adding bit by bit (even if we don’t use it till a few months in). I want my “gardens” to have space to grow. My Sherman BTA in the move is one of my reasons I’m looking to upgrade already! It looks l like a martini glass with frills right now!

Excellent thinking. Having space for all of your creatures to stretch out and enjoy their lives is super important. We're using the PetSmart bowfront 36. It looked great in the store with no water. When we got it home and added water to it the view was distorted because of the bowed glass. I'm not 100% sure the the size that we will move into, but we are actively looking. Looking at what you've already accomplished, I have no doubt that you will do a fabulous job.

This is my lobophyllia, or is it a acanthastrea pachysepta? Anyway , I have had her for almost three years. She is the centerpiece of my 30 gallon mixed reef. After a month of tuning in my new Reef Breeders Meridians/T5 combo, I really got her colors popping. She loves to actively feed! She responds really well to Polyplab Polyp Booster and Reef Roids.

Free swimming- net them as you see them.
Certain wrasses and butterfly such as racoon will eat them but this butterfly will also eat zoa coral

Definitely out of the question if it eats zoanthids. We love our zoas!! I'm a little simple sometimes,lol, so netting them out just hadn't occurred to me yet. Definitely going to do that when we get home. I'm a live and let live type of guy. That said, I HATE these things on a level not previously felt by me. I've been hospitalized twice about 6 weeks apart for what we thought were extreme ulcer symptoms. A month or so later I was stung on the finger by one of these hydroids and that FEELING sure did feel familiar!! I didn't usually wash my hands after doing something in the tank. Like really, it's just my tank water, it's not like it's dirty. lol!! Mama always said I had to learn everything the hard way. After much reflection, I believe that I introduced free swimming hydroids into my gastrointestinal system when I put in a dip of snuff after having my hands in the tank. EXTREMELY NEGATIVE FEELING!! I now wash my hands in HOT water EVERY TIME I do ANYTHING in the tank!! I've also been inspired by this experience to quit dipping stuff after 38 years!! Even though I love snuff, it's just not a chance I want to continue to take. I did allow me ONE bag of Red Man per month in the deal with myself, as consolation!! Lol.---- I siphoned a few hydroids out into a little cup ticket a picture.
