I just added these guys to my reef tank. They're out and about after 2 days in the tank! I'm so happy to have them.

Show me your fathead anthias...

Any advice or anything I should know about them?

Does anyone else keep a pair?

Love the fathead anthias - a dream fish for me for sure - do you have a build thread? I’d love to learn more about your tank

I tried 7, 5 from LA and 2 from LFS. Only 1 from LA survived. Finicky little buggers...

I just joined reef2reef and I've been lazy about making my build thread but I've got all the pictures and info ready to go. Unfortunately I'm upgrading to a Waterbox Frag 105.4 in the next few weeks so I'll have to tear this one down . But I definitely want to do a build thread for the new tank because I'll be running all high end equipment on it. Here's my current tank...

Looks beautiful - what tank is it?

Oh my, that’s a well done setup. No interest in running two instead of breaking this one down?

Thanks, I'm upgrading because the corals are out growing this setup quickly so I'll give them room to grow in the new tank. I might keep this tank running as something else but I'm not really sure yet. I actually get a lot of joy out of the building aspect of the hobby so as sad as it is to see this go, this has been my first saltwater tank and I'd like to take what I've learned and apply it to a new setup.

That’s understandable. I’m looking forward to following along with your next build
