Same Teflon it and reattach. May just need to tighten it a littl but might as well use the tape just to make sure you don't have issues in the future.

Hey Reefers,

I just set up my Reefer Nano and started the cycle process yesterday.
Equipment I have set up so far:

Sicce Syncra 1.5
Eheim Jäger 100W
Kessil A160WE Tuna Blue

I could really use your help on deciding witch skimmer to go with? Ive looked at Reef Octopus 110sss, Aquamaxx Q2, Nyos Quantum 120, and Vertex Omega 130. Please let me know which would be the best for this size aquarium and which would fit, noting that some of these skimmers are larger in length from red seas specs but they are not calculating the space given next to the filter sock.

Equipment I plan on purchasing in a few weeks are the Ecotech MP10 and some sort of controller and ATO. Ive been looking at Neptune systems Jr and Regular just not sure what would be best? Not sure which ATO to go with either, would love some recommendations?

I do plan on running a Pico tank from Oceanbox Designs for growing Frags and Fluval Spec for Quarantine.

Also I am very new to this Hobby and have become literally obsessed with it. HAHA. Look forward to hearing back from you and constructive criticism always encouraged. Thanks

I'm not sure I have never had one of the eshopps Snow Cone s120 skimmers but I read a few reviews on it and its like anything else some good some bad but the pump used on it is really good so I assume its quiet. I would think that it has the best footprint for your sump because of its size and pump is contained in the body of the skimmer itself. I don't know anything about the aquamaxx, hopefully someone else with more insight can chime in for ya.

Awesome sounds great. Really appreciate the feed back and hopefully one of my local LFS'S has one so I can take a look at it.

Here is what it looks like install . I like that it has a small foot print

That's a pretty cool little piece.

You may find the need for the ability to direct the flow to somewhere else besides the front-ish portion of the tank. I have mine point around to the backside of the tank because my power heads take care of everything else. Also helps with flow behind my rock work. If I point mine to the front-ish, it pushes sand around. That's the nice thing about the Loc-Line setup... you can make it as short or as long as you want with whatever ends you want. If you run no segments on the Loc-Line Y, then it would basically be the same thing as what you have going.

I use the Tropic Eden Miniflakes... absolutely the most amazing sand ever IMO. Does not need rinsing... literally has zero dust out of the bag. All of the Tropic Eden sand is basically dust free. I use to use the Caribsea brand and it was absolutely horrible in comparison. Very dusty, not consistent. So bad that I actually went through the headache of removing it from my established tank and changed over to the Tropic Eden.

Here's a nice example of it:

My favorite sand as well!
