It's never been easier to add the Random Flow Generator® to your aquarium

Over the past few months we have updated and simplified our pre configured flow kit lineup. We took the guesswork out of adding an RFG Nozzle to your aquarium by pre-configuring and bundling these kits with the most common adapters and fittings.

All of our flow kits now come standard with our new Flex-Series Random Flow Generator nozzles, and a well thought out selection of flex adapters – this makes these kits highly compatible with many different aquarium brands, models and custom builds.

Available now at all major online retailers, Select Dealers and Distributors and possible at you local fish store (check there first).

Here's the line up and all the aquariums these kits work with.

will the ulitmate nano kit work on my JBJ 15 gal AIO

Yes it will. You will need to use the 16mm adaptor that it comes with that kit. Don't make the mistake i did because i went on their website and under the JBJ section on their website it says you need to get an adaptor to go along with the 1/2" RFG nozzle. So i purchased both and it turns out that the adaptor is not needed for the JBJ. So i just used the 1/2" RFG nozzle but the waterline and where the output nozzle is, the 1/2" RFG nozzle just sucks up a bunch of air. I emailed them regarding this and included pictures of the issue. They said they would send send some 1/2 locline knuckle adaptors so the nozzle would be below the waterline. That was 2 weeks ago and still haven't received nothing. I wish i knew that before hand and would have just bought the ultimate nano kit. Now im stuck using the stock nozzle and stuff i bought from them that is useless

This tank seems that it may have had a recent change in the the way to made - Usually JBJs would use out 19mm adapter - however his one seem sot have a different setup than nearly all their other tanks. If you're looks like this this, with the flare nozzle and stock fitting sliping INSIDE the outlet

1687211345178.png

Then the most likely adapters that would work, would be either the 16.5mm modular hose adapter or the 2021-050 Modular hose Converter - both of which are include in the single 1/2inh RFG Flow kit

1687211456790.png

Since we have not seen this tank in person yet, it can say for sure which adpaper it will be, but I can say, base don't what I know what these sorts of fittings , it will be one of them.

Mine is like the picture with the flare nozzle fitting inside the outlet. I will probably order both of your suggestions and return the one that does not work. Thank you for the reply.

Actually you don't need the 16mm adaptor as I mention in the previous post. I was thinking about my other tank which is a waterbox tank and that one does need the 16mm adaptor.

If you remove the stock nozzle. I belive you are left with a fitting that is 16mm already. I bought the 1/2" RFG and it fit with that stock fitting but I need some loc line knuckles that will extend the nozzle below the waterline. VCA reached out and hopefully will be sending me the comparable parts

Given how that Flex-Sereis RFG fits - then the 2122-050 Modular hose converter will defiantly fit, and convert this out let to be Loc-Line compatible

We sent out a handful of adapters to have you try out . From left to right

1 - 2025-050 Multidpater
2 - 2021-050 Modular Hose Converter
3 - 1320-050 Pipe to Loc-Line adapter
4 - 16.5mm Waterbox adapter

1, 2 and 4 are all included in the Single 1/2in RFG Flow Kit , while 3 and 4 are included in the single 1/4in RFG Flow Kit.

I know the 2122-050 Modular hose converter will work, but I'm curious is the 2025-050 Multidapter will be a better fit as a full Replacment for the stock fitting.

Looking forward to your feedback.

Which size for the DN20 waterbox nozzles (220.6)?
You have two options for that szie hose - you can run a standard 3/4in Flex-Sereis RFG. it will be a little tight, but it does stretchover the DN20 hose.

Depending on your particular tank, the hose may be a little short for that - meaning the RFG may not reach all the way under the water line.

The other option is to go with our new Single 3/4in RFG Flow Kit

This kit includes the 3/4in RFG, some Loc-Line and the MHA2830LL075 Flex-Adapter. This will allow you to extend the stock hoses a few more segment long and with the included Loc-Line

I have the lifeguard aquatics 3.8 gallon and I was wondering if I should get the 1/4” kit or the pico?
For the LifeGard line, you'll want to take look at the single 1/4in RFG flow kit. This include a combo adapter (13mm ID and 20mm OD) that fits the 20mm rubber booth that is found on most of hose tank .

1699719900456.png

1699719742982.png

Given the size of that tank, you may not need the extra segment of 1/4in Loc-Line, so you can just pop that off and shorten it a bit.
