just built this stand today im going to stack tanks on top

Here's a couple that I've built. Just finished product pictures. The smaller one I'm debating about adding a shelf too.

Those are both great, but that cube tank stand looks so good I saved the pictures so I can copy it in the future. Nice work!

Thank you! I'm still thinking about adding a shelf around the top edge with maybe some corbels under it. It would be handy to have somewhere to set stuff when working on it. I skinned it with wire brushed hickory. Here's a couple more pictures if it helps you out.

Inside it's a 2x6 frame with butt joints, wrapped with ship lapped wood and reclaimed barn tin. The wood is stained and brushed and distressed with teal/black paint, then coated with poly. Matches the rest of our basement, my wonderful wife did all the wrap work.

Absolutely love the reclaimed tin and barn wood. Would like to see more pics of this piece of art ;-)
 
Just finished my stand about two weeks ago. I am just getting a Fluval Evo started, but the top is big enough to get the tank I want one day either the innovative marine aio 40 or the waterbox aio 40.

This is a stand i built 8 years ago. I tore it down when we moved. I still have the tanks stored away.
