I love planted tanks. I never felt like I was terribly good at them. The trimming was just too much for me. I had to be on a stool and armpit deep for hours every week. I hung in there for some years but ultimately broke it down and sold it. SPS tanks are easier lol. And I mean that.

75 gallon acrylic rimless
Canister filter (tried a few)
Co2 injection and estimative index dosing.
100% water change every week (done manually with buckets. Absolutely brutal. Can’t believe I kept up with those for as long as I did. Here are various shots of it at different phases of planting and arrangement

Here's my spec-v 5g. CO2 with occasional ferts (when I remember) bi-weekly water changes. Single T5 that could probably use a new bulb soon. Right now I only have two emerald dwarf rasboras, but would like to add some RCH.
It's pretty much a jungle in there, but I do trim once a month or so.

Low tech, 29 gallon, Fluval AC70, Tunze 3152 nano ATO, Fluval Plant 3.0 light. All supplements by Seachem.

The mollies aren’t in it any more but 5 Buenos Aires Tetras, 1 Aggazi Cory Cat, 1 Rubber nosed pleco and a regular red Betta.

nice tanks everyone here's mine its a ten gallon community with mismatched sponge filter stocking is
6 neon tetras
6 pygmy corycats
i'm going to add 2 otos once there out of quarantine
also i'm bad at aquascaping IMG_6467.JPG
everything looks greener in person i also normally have more baby java ferns floating around but i'm using them in quarantine for the otos
