Man, I used to live in cherry hill NJ back in 90’ s and bill’ s wonderland of pets was the bomb- sadly I moved too far away in Pennsylvania and I got nothing now ugg!! Used to have Reeftorift but now gone as well with Covid bs shutdowns- now, the nearest lfs is 1 1/2 hrs away and is good (The Hidden Reef)

I don’t have photos but these guys are two of my favourite lfs. Great service and advice. Awesome quality and ranges of stock. Knowledgeable know there stuff kinda places. I love a shop that specialises in reefing.

I live in Orlando so World Wide Corals, Top Shelf Aquatics and Living Reef Orlando are the stores I frequent the most. I live about 18 minutes from the WWC superstore so that’s where I typically go. TSA and LRO are about 40 minutes away from me so I don’t get over to those two quite as often.

We are pretty lucky to have such a great team supporting our journey into reefing. And yes their videos are brilliant! Everyone regardless of where they live in the world can learn so much from their youtube channel.

Which one is your favorite??? I’ve never been to Iconic but Sea Level Aquarium shop is closest to my house at about a 45-50 minute drive… Sea Level is my favorite shop now that Ocean Image Aquatics shut down. Warren is a great guy and always gives me fair trade in price on the coral I bring in.

Which one is your favorite??? I’ve never been to Iconic but Sea Level Aquarium shop is closest to my house at about a 45-50 minute drive… Sea Level is my favorite shop now that Ocean Image Aquatics shut down. Warren is a great guy and always gives me fair trade in price on the coral I bring in.

Iconic is a little hole in the wall that is packed with tons of frags and colonies. He doesn't carry many fish, but what he has is funky. If you are looking for unconventional fish like pipefish, nano gobies or weird basslets, this is the place. The frag prices are also much lower than other places.

If your coming from Warren I wouldn't go to Iconic. Too far east for you.
Absolutely fish is only about 15 minutes away from Sea Level and it's worth the ride in my opinion. It's on the pricey side, but has much more fish and coral than Sea Level.

I'll have to go get more pictures of the store but I remembered I had this cute one of a shark!

I go to this store bc its the only one in town essentially! The people are friendly and they have stepped up their stock of corals a lot in the last year and a half. I recommend it when people are in my area.

I hate when I see stuff like this there. There's so few people in this area that actually go into Reef Life with an appropriate tank at home to support this guy, or a ray, or a horseshoe crab. Unless he ordered it specifically for someone, best case scenario is that the person that manages one of those tanks will see it and snatch for their client.

That's not to say I don't like the place, I get all of my fish from there. But I only go there like once per year now that they just drop stuff at my front door for $5. Tough to beat that small a charge vs. me driving all the way down 280 from Bham.

Yeah the shark was ordered for someone. No idea who and they have also hatched one or two there from eggs. I still go by the store bc my parents live across the street. I have tried to let some others know that they do deliver now and supposedly deliver all the way up to Huntsville. All in all not a bad store for Alabama but not the best store in terms of like Southern Florida.

Haha I’m in Sussex county… Warren is the guy that owns Sea Level… ive been to absolutely fish a bunch but I’d rather spend my money at Sea Level. They added a bunch of tanks and an entire store for just dry goods… definitely the best Saltwater shop in Jersey in my opinion

No current pictures but we have ReefSystems, he has been aquaculturing corals for decades. I believe he was one of the early starters. He has funding from Ohio State and all the other accolades.
Then a little further north we have Than and Tidal Gardens.

Hello to all.
All the stores you've written about so far are in the US.
Since there are many non-US people on the forum, it would be interesting to read about their LFS as well.
I am from Israel. The country is small and I know at least a dozen LFS, but the best one is in my city "Reef Shop".
Been a regular customer for 13 years now.
And I will explain why Golan, the owner of LFS is the best.
1. LFS, in addition to being a store, operates on the principle of an interest club. His office is quite spacious and 8-10 people can stay there and talk on all topics of interest. Plus, there is always a free check of the main water parameters, you can compare the test results.
2. Of all the owners of LFS, he is the best versed in our hobby. And everyone who has problems or needs advice turns to him.
3. He is a very decent person and conducts business very honestly.
He will never sell an unquarantined fish and always demonstrates that the fish eats on its own before selling.
He has a very large selection of corals, both cheap and high-end. If he sees that some coral is not feeling very well, then he will not sell it.
4. It does not sell products from China, only brands from USA and Germany. He is the official dealer of such brands as GHL, Tunze, Kessil, Aquatic Life, Korallen-zucht, Tropic Marin, Theiling and many others.
If you are lucky enough to visit the Holy Land, I highly recommend visiting the Reef Shop.
