Looking good! Here’s a look at my guys - about a month in now with the mandarins and sunny the citron still eating frozen pods and frozen baby brine like a champ.

My nitrates are at 34ppm today - been a real battle figuring out how to feed mysis, frozen pods, frozen baby brine and phyto for the monthly pods. Everything seems happy though and no algae issues (knock on wood). Needing to make dang sure these mandarins get fed is a bit of work but soo worth it.

They’re beautiful!
Here’s some more photos of my 4.

And guess who did emerge tonight! Vanished for a whole week just to emerge happily and perch on the sand bed.

Gorgeous!! Im having issues with my pinkbar goby and randall’s shrimp. I was fixing some mounts that the urchin knocked loose and disturbed their burrow. Saw em run out and thought they were making a new hole - but havent heard or seen the pistol in a few days now

Wow that’s a beautiful tank! 9 fish is my dream number for my max nano, people really overestimate how heavy the nano fish have in terms of a bio load.
Can you elaborate on that point a bit? Under what parameters are you stocking to this level? Asking out of curiosity not judgement.

Many fish recommended for nanos have low bioloads but some are rather high. Especially clownfish and damsels.
My parameters are around these - It’s currently midnight over here and this is the first parameter check I could get hold of. I’ll do the tests next weekend and see - I was doing it every 3-4 days but that schedule got ditched after a while so now it’s every weekend. I’ll do it in the week if something doesn’t look right however for now everything is looking great and happy.

Still trying to figure out the first set of Eviotas, look like E. brahmi but I can’t see the dorsal to figure out whether they are or not!

Here’s the guy that started the tank of now 6 Gobies. My yasha goby that is 2 years and 4 months old - I hope to try get him to the 3 year lifespan as these guys usually live upto 2 years but some can live to 3 under the proper care to my understanding.

Here he is! Still in the bag, but it gave me a good chance to pull out the Camera since I'll probably only ever see him under overhangs now; a Biota Astronaut Goby! (Trimma Striatum)

Trimma striatum is a stunning species but a PITA to get hold of as Trimma species on their own are hard to get hold of.
