I am in the process of putting together an Innovative Marine 170 EXT with a Trigger Systems CR44 Sump. I plan to buy a Sicce SDC return pump for Black Friday but I’m not sure of which one to buy. Does anyone have experience with the 7.0 SDC or the 9.0 SDC?

I have a syncra sdc 9 pumping up from my basement @ 66%. 14' head 350ish gph. 4 years, cleaned it 2x. 42 dB

I am a firm believer in ALWAYS going slightly bigger.

Less wear and tear on a pump running at 50% rather than 100%, at least in my opinion.

Do you like it?

do you like the pump? How long have you been running it and have you had any issues?
4 years, yes, powerful. My next build will be in a basement. IM 170 ext. This will be used as the sump pump. Way powerful enough for that.

I wish they would publish pump curves and different power setting. The only one I have seen do that is Royal Dragon.
They can be found.

Well yes, but then you know you can turn them down.
For instance, I picked the 9 because I knew I need 14' head. It does 23. I could do 1500 gph @ 14' head.
But @KStatefan was asking about charts that showed pump curves at different power settings. My comment was that the chart posted does not show this.
