Need some advice on what I should do next with him.

He's obviously in distress, as he is very lethargic and is bumping into things while very slowly swimming around. I did a 5 minute fresh water dip. He was rather easy to catch. That's not a good sign in my opinion.

I'd put him in quarantine, however, I don't have all the pieces for a QT setup yet. Covid-19 kind of got in the way of that project.

Is it really hopeless at this point?

I'm really not much good at fish diseases. Is this sudden, or has he been progressively getting worse? In the video, it looks like he has a few spots. Does it look to you like he has a film on his skin? He's definitely breathing hard. Velvet? Really needs to get into QT. Let's see if we can get some help. #reefsquad Has anyone got any ideas?

I've been trying to manage ick on him. QT would be nice, but since I'm not working right now, it's not possible..

He's only been swimming like this today.

He needs a hospital tank, but maybe a rally bath would help him out a bit.

I'll check that out when I'm back to work and can afford it. If he survived that long.

Give the Fox Face to somebody who can treat him instead of waiting for you to afford it. Peple treat fish like they can be thrown away like an old pair of shoes. If you are near Dallas i’ll treat it in copper and give it back to you when you are ready.

Please don't confuse me with one of those people, I'm very upset about this. If I wasn't in the situation I'm in with zero income and house / car payments due, I'd be pulling out all the stops.

I'm about 1200 miles from you.

If I knew someone in my area who I could trust I'd do that.

I'm going to see what we can do to get the QT up and running tomorrow.
