Skimmer for a 30 gallon

Can anyone recommend a skimmer for my 30 gallon reef that won't break the bank? I'm not really happy with my current skimmer and I'd like something that works more efficiently. Thanks

I have a JNS VS 1 hang on back and I love it. It's a work horse! It's quiet too. It retails for like $200. I got mine for free when a buddy broke down his tank. Lucky for me because it really is a fantastic skimmer and more than adequate for a 30 gallon. I have it on my 60.

A HOB? Or in sump? If you can do a sump.. SCA-301 or 302

Id prefer a sump skimmer I dont have much room for a HOB

Then yea get that skimmer for the price it's really nice. I have the 302 model and really like it... Could be a little better built and easier to dial in but it's really silent, and once dialed in gets you that thick gunk you want :)
