Hi all,

My skimmer is always mental, I’m hoping one of you clever lot can see the issue and solve quite easily.

A newbie, so be kind.

It is on the lowest pump setting, on the correct water line. Adjustment on blue is the lowest setting, and air to the left the same.

Is it too big for my 255l set up?

Thanks :)

I can’t tell you how to adjust but I can describe what you are experiencing. Your skimmer is producing very wet foam. If there isn’t a chemical in the aquarium making the water very foamy, something you added, then the airflow is too high in the skimmer for the water level in the skimmer, that is the distance from the top of the water in the skimmer with no air flow to the bottom of the collection cup. Lower the water level or choke the airflow, maybe both.
