Skimmer issues

I used about a 1/4 stick of aquamend almost 2 weeks ago in my tank. I turned my skimmer off for 24hrs. I turned it back on and it start overflowing. I used a 5g bucket for it to drain into hoping it would take a little while to adjust. Almost 2wks now and it is still overflowing even on the lowest setting. I also have microbubbles coming out of my return pump when the skimmer is on now. I've done 3 water changes 3-4 day apart. 20g 10 g and 5g and no changes. I have my skimmer in the middle chamber with filter floss and sponge going into the 3rd chamber where the return is. Any advice e? Thanks in advance.
