Would it make sense to get a bigger anemone? I have a small one; however I feel as if I should have gotten a larger one because it seems this smaller one is sensitive.

Anemones are not like corals were a bigger frag is better or hardier. It's effected by lighting and water chemistry the same no matter the size. Though some will say the larger ones live off more light than nutrients just as clams but idk if thats proven in either animal.

Small anemonen is more fun to see grow and they stay atttached to place where they grow!

Large ones are good if younn3ed the clowns to host immediately.
Oh I see, actually my clown had hosted it but the nem didn't like it at all and moved and closed up. :disappointed-face:

If you have clowns, they’ll stress out a smaller anemone. A small, well fed and happy anemone, will grow pretty fast, but if you have clowns that want to be hosted, I’d definitely opt for something bigger off the bat
Got it, and I actually rehomed the pair I had. I have notice now that the nem is more bubbly now.

Feed it silversides and enjoy watching it grow. Better to have it grow in your system and be aquacultured then to buy a large one and it doesn’t acclimate well.

Small nems shouldn't be fed something that large. Even with my 12" BTA I only let it catch mysis or similar sizes. They don't require direct feedings.
