Snail came alive! What is it?

My mom visited the Bahamas last month and brought home some shells, as you do. She put them with our other shells in the cabinet. about a month later two of the snail shells "woke up" and started crawling us the glass in the cabinet.

Ive done some research and it looks like they are members of the genus Trochus. They've been alive and well and crawling about in a jar with a tiny bit of water for about a week.

What are they pls help

is there a specific type of Trochus? or does it matter? and not sure what should I do with them!! ?lol
