Any idea what this is? It mostly feeds/appears at night or low light and it grazes algae...or at least appears to be. It is also quite fast compared to my other snails.

Definitely a stoma. Love em, just don't seem to last long if you have hermits. That's my experience at least...

Stomatella, and they're really beneficial

Thanks! It really doesn't like light. I just tried to get another pic via small flashlight and as soon as the light gets on/near it, it leaves rather quickly. Very cool invert. If I ever catch it close enough to get a good, clear macro, it's shell almost looks like it has been partially decorated by a decorator crab. Thanks again!

I have a few, but I'm vascillating between leaving them and removing them. I had a few other nice, smaller snails, and now the hermits are inside their shells. In their defense however, I think they are starving so I have been feeding them a little. Decisions, decisions.
