A friend of mine has a tank with a snowflake eel in it along with other fish. Even though the eel is well fed, it has recently started eating the fish, which it hasn't done for months until now. What are options? Just get bigger fish? Is it that simple? Or would the best thing be to just get rid of the eel? It's too big a tank to house only an eel and as I'm sure you all know, fish are too costly to serve as simply a live dinner for this one animal.

I had to sell my 12 inch snow flake. It ate a number of my smaller fish. I watched it bite my vlamingi tang. I knew then I had to re home it.
