Hey everyone,

I have a 40 gallon nuvo and was wanting to add a fish or two to my tank. I already have 2 clowns and a melanarus. I would like a diamond goby but I also want to get another fish maybe two?

Id rather not get another wrasse since my melanarus is a butthead and basically bullied my lubbock wrasse to death. :(

the 3 fish are currently about an 2-3 inches long. My wife really likes the lawnmower blenny bc of the "eye brows"....so would that work in the tank with everything?

or other fish thanks!

What kind of clowns? A diamond goby wouldn't be too bad.

Honestly you're pretty maxed out long term imo.

Idk, the diamond goby is prob fine but I dont think you can do a lawnmower in a 40. I only have 2 in a 220. They need a lot of rock work and algae to graze on and dont really eat prepared foods. If you decide to try, get one as small as possible. Otherwise you could do a dottyback or a pair of firefish or a couple chromis maybe.

Royal Grammas, Cardinals, Chromis, Firefish are all a few types to consider. Are you set on a Goby or Blenny?

Check out some of the smaller colorful gobies like Catalina, or Neons.
