Thdre are so many copepods on my glass. All the white dots are pods. The sides and back look the same. Is this a bad thing?

No, it’s a good thing. It means you have a thriving ecosystem. If you add a fish that eats copepods, they’ll handle the glass for you. My melanurus wrasse singlehandedly took care of a massive copepod boom that occurred when my tank was fallow.

You never have too many pods....

....unless you roll over at 6:34am to see a Copepod lying next to you in bed and it says, "Hey, how yooooou doin'?"

Those things are a terrible danger to your tank. You should catch as many as you can and over-night them to me right away. (Make sure to use a Styrofoam shipping container. )

Not to be a party pooper but are you sure they are pods because the shape and behavior (congregating on the glass) seem more like flatworms to me.

Definatly not flatworms. I looked up close and they look exactly like copepods from pix I found online

Pods gather on my glass. And they are definitely pods as my mandarin thanks me by eating them

As others have said that many pods may be dangerous and you should get them out bottle them up and send them to me, include a heat pack as it’s pretty cold. I’ll send you money to cover shipping ;)
