Looked at the early posts then skipped to the end. You stepped your photography game up a lot. Very nice corals.

I'd love to see your sump ,skimmer reactors and such! Seeing what makes these beauties grow would be great!

Hi, very nice collection! love the colors. I have a question that is driving me crazy and you may help me to understand this better. Is it true that if you put a yellow, pink or red acropora under blue light it turns green with time? I know that instantly a yellow acro turns green under blue, but does it turn permanently green with time under blue?

Also in which spectrum are you keeping your acros and under which par? Do you use any type of supplements like amino acids? or do you raise some elements more than usual? Its just we have the same setup as yours and we never get this colors lol.

regards

Nevermind put 2+2 together.
(Joe Knows Reefs) I lost this quite a few years ago, I got it from Steve Tyree. It was one of the prettiest corals I've had.

Thanks everyone.

My sumps are really simple, it is just my skimmer and calcium reactor. There is really nothing fancy going on down there.

What do you mean by same setup? Same equipment? corals? tank? It is really hard to replicate tanks. I have multiple tanks and pieces change in each tank even though I use the same water and calcium reactor media.
I keep my acros under about 15k ish with my t5s. Most acros get about 500 par, and I also dose alkalinty when I need it otherwise I do not dose anything.

Hi, sorry for my bad English. It's not my first language.

What I meant is that I use the best products I can find, some as you and I don't have the same results. Can you please recommend me a 10 bulbs t5 combo for acroporas with 4 channels (I have PS Diuna lamp 80w x 10) and a schedule (on/off) for each channel? I think you use the same lamp on one of your tanks. I know it depends on the PAR, but usually how many hours of light your acros receive a day under t5?

Thank you in advance and sorry for my bad English.

Regards

For T5 I run a 15 hour light cycle
I would try
7 blue plus
2 coral plus
1 actinic for your light.

Woah where did the little red nub come from? Did you see the original colony? I wonder if the red glows like that when grown under t5 or halides.
You definatly have a nack for choosing or photographing corals that have odd hues in them. Or photographing them a certain way, the photos are so dark its very odd. I have to ask, how much time do you spend on your tanks per day? You definatly have a monster collection of expensive coral!
Can you take a video for us? I am sure everyone would love to see this stuff in motion!

Hey man, I've lost my R66 Merlin's Staff acropora and I'm soo bummed about it. Your mini colony is STUNNING!! I'd be willing to pay a decent amount whenever your beautiful specimen would be ready for a possible fragment :) I know what it's worth and I'd really love to have it again! Please let me know!
