Some pieces looking angry

I messed around and listened to some advice on my lighting, and maxed out my two radions. Well I think this was a mistake, because a blasto pair bleached on me (first sign something was wrong). The next thing I knew two wall hammers melted over night, and then a single head of HG melted over the next night. The only thing that changed was the lighting , and I used phos guard on and off for two days to lower the phos slowly. Phos wasn’t “high”, but it was slowly creeping up. So now nothing else has died, but I have a few pieces looking like the below pictures. I have many acans and blastos, but for some reason these look like this. Do you think it’s a reaction to me changing the lighting (I have changed it back) or is this something more?

I have nothing but poor experiences with those corals and it may be due to the fact that I run a high PAR level.

What is your PO4 (and other parameters) at present? Interested to see what others think. I would be surprised if lighting alone would do that to LPS on the sand but I agree it's worrisome.

Many corals adapt to different lighting, but it had to be done slowly over quite some time.

Lighting could do that and dropping the levels back to previous is a good idea. Significant PO4 change over two days is "quick" although I have not seen a sudden impact on LPS from this, more SPS.

If you are going to change lighting in any significant way I would prefer to do it over weeks.

Perhaps a temporary double whammy of highlight and low(er) nutrient.

How much have any of these shifted in the last couple weeks?

Only other thing I just saw was my aiptasia filefish mess with an acan. Idk if that’s it, but if I see him do it one more time, that’s a wrap

Possibilities are:
One of the tankmates (butterfly, filefih or?)
Stinging from other coral
False salinity whereas your salinity may be higher than your instrument is indication
Lighting too bright
sand from sandbed landing on them

I used two different brands of salinity checker, both exactly the same. No butterfly, but I do have a file fish. Some pieces are only near other non stinging corals.
