Some type of tube worm or vermetide ?

Hello All!

I have been observing this creature growing on my rock work. It started small like a verse tide, but now is the Sizemore of a dime. It sends out slim strings, but not feathers like a feather duster.

Any ideas?

Yeah looks like vermitted snail
,spiral base and mucus net it sends out to capture food then reels them back in to feed.
They also use their nets to reproduce with sperm getting ejected then another vermited catches it in its net and fertilises.

If want to remove, best option I've seen is use needle nose pliers to grab base and twist off removing all the shell and snail Inside

The thing is way bigger than any vermetide snail that I have experienced.
