Hello
I remember long ago reading that after getting all parameters stable, new aquarists were discouraged by pests ... and i thought one day will be my turn

The 2 montis had damage 2 months ago for one, then a month ago for the other, got damaged then started healing
then this pink birdsnest that i have been growing from a mini tip frag is showing damage since yesterday, visibly more today compared with yesterday (and i love him/her)
there may be something at the base, hard to see and still i used the 100 mm lens and tried my best

note those corals are way apart in the tank
when the montis goit damaged i thought it was due to using vibrant, that got rid of all hair algea but visibly made sps unhappy - now i havent dosed any since 3 weeks and the birdsnest is suffering since yesterday

all parameters stable
Salinity 1025
Ca 430
Alk 8.3
Mg 1300
K 420
PO4 0.01 to 0.05

i dose 10 ml acropower every 4 days
reef roids to LPS every other day
water is NSW from queensland, last change 10 days ago - due today

wondering about aefw but then the montis were damaged ... so probably something else

what do you think ?
thanks
alexis
