Ok @Lionfish Lair what has landed in my tank? Lol this came in a acan.. I dipped in Bayer for 15 mins, revive and iodine for 15 mins.. and after a couple of days I swore I saw something move in the frag.. tonight I saw it again.. so back into Bayer and the revive for like 30 mins.. I didn't see anything so I put it back in the tank.. I noticed then what looked like a shell where the head of the acan should be.. I took it back out and pulled out with tweezers.. the shell broke and I finally got this thing out..

I think it is one of those symbiotic coral shrimps/crabs.

Edit: look up commensal coral hermit crab. There are a many different ones.

Now now.. I highly doubt this is over your head..
but it is kind of cool.. I found a pic of the favia frag that was sent to me as a free frag for purchasing $300 worth of other coral.. lol I will post in a second.. I am one of those "if it moves and I don't know what it is.. it's a goner" I don't like hitchhikers regardless.. if I didn't put it there.. it doesn't need to be there.. lol..

I know virtually nothing about little inverts and pests... I know a little about a lot and a lot about a little ;)
