Hello all. Iv noticed my torch coral has been stressed recently for no apparent reason yet evething else is doing well. Yesterday i noticed this cluster of something and a small hole in the flesh of my torch. I came down this morning and the cluster of highlighted spots are gone. Are they pests and causing the damage possibly? Or am i just losing my torch?

Iv dipped the coral in reef primer with a couple of drops of coral rx in with it for 8 minutes. Seen nothing fall off. Thought it might help the open flesh regardless. Iv lowered my lights by 20% and put on acclimation for 20 days to give the torch a rest.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Can you tell us about your tank? How old? How long have you had this coral? Water test results? How is it being maintained and filtered?
