How can I see posts based on the date they were published?

Even when I sort them by date most recent, I find that many of the posts at the top of the list are earlier in the month or even previous months.

What am I doing wrong?

You have to click the "start date" field at the top, if you wish to see them based on the published date of the thread.

Similarly, you have to click the "last message" field at the top, if you wish to see them based on the threads most recently posted to.
