So I picked up a Kind Midas axis frag from my LFS on Jun 28th

It's still not open.

My other coast have come from the same shop, same tank, acclimated and handled the same way and opened within hours

The KM is a few inches away from the Sunny Ds, which are happy and thriving

What am I doing wrong?

What can I do better?

If the spa isn't open, maybe the owner is on a holiday? (just kidding)

Did you dip your Zoas?

Zoas are corals with one of the most pests on them, and it seems like it might be suffering from some pests. I would take out all the zoas and dip them in your dip of choice. I would also scrub them gently with a brush to get rid of any algae or possible pests afterwards, and inspect for eggs

I didn't. The shop is extremely well run and so I do a visual, no dip, acclimate and place in the tank

Frag rack for a few days then into an appropriate place

No visible algae or buildup on the frag, and it was wide open when I picked it so I'm thinking parameters (could be wrong)
