Whoah!I noticed this one colony has eggs about to get released, are any of yours doing the same?
It is a wild colony I got from fishy business aquatics a while back. It’s already encrusted on its base.Whoah!
Did you just get that in as a wild piece? or did it become gravid in your care?
Do you feed heavily? No moonlight. Temp is set between 78-82F. Alk is 8. Ca 400 last measured. I don’t check any other parameter. SG 1.026.
My fish are fed once in the morning. No special coral food.Do you feed heavily?
And thanks for the info
Excellent. Likely was collected gravid. Do you kno where it was collected? It is a wild colony I got from fishy business aquatics a while back. It’s already encrusted on its base.
Probably Tonga. I just checked again. I missed the actual release of the eggs. The eggs are all gone. Probably will end up in the sump.Excellent. Likely was collected gravid. Do you kno where it was collected?
Shortly after lights out. I turned the light back on to take the pic.Great. The spawning makes all kinds of sense. If only one colony spawned, there isn't anything you can do to fertilize the eggs, they don't self fertilize.
What time did you notice the eggs setting?
