Project fallout.jpg

It is that time again for me to start my next build.

I have recently moved and I am in the middle of finishing my basement to have an "Ultimate Gaming Room" and a few other things.

Some of you may know that I am an avid gamer so when this project became possible I jumped.

The Idea... Build the ultimate reef aquarium with the ultimate gaming setup as one with a Fallout theme. It should be simple... Kinda...

I game on Xbox One and PC so both are going to have to be built-in. Some sort of screen or most likely screens will have to be incorporated as well.

The possibilities are endless on this one.....

I would like to thank the following companies for the support and everyone on Reef2Reef in making something like this .

More info will be posted soon on this build. I hope to start on it right after RAP Orlando but wanted to get the build thread going!

The current upstairs build is still going strong (https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/sponsored-project-70-by-elder1945-75g.382503/), I am almost ready to fill it up and start filling it out with fish and coral. The "sub" systems I am working on now (QT,Frag,Mixing station) are now almost ready to turn on.

This is going to be an epic build!

More on equipment choices and tank sizing soon...

Following. I’ve been playing Fallout since the day the original came out for Mac.

You’re combining two of my favorite leisure activities here, so I’m strapping on my Brotherhood Power Armor and getting ready!

Are you buliding this yourself or just deploying a GECK in an empty tank

The overall idea of this system came to me while at RAP NY last year.

The best place to start in my mind is the anchor of the build the base. This idea has floated in my mind for a few weeks now and wanted to get done. From this point I can build the rest of the system off it.

The build:

So much more to do but gets it going.... This one is going to be fun.

And yes it will have a little over 30 feet of LEDs in it :)

Yea the logistics on this one took some time. I like taking my time on these builds but this one took a lot of work behind the scenes.

There will be quite a bit built into this system not just aquarium related :).

Wow. Just awesome! #nachyo-cheez is gonna love watching this thread...

He plays FO4 so much next to the DT, I think my clowns actually dance to Freedom Radio.

I can see it now... MP40 drysides dressed like Fusion Cores, lighting hanging from a Prydwen-like ship... the possibilities are endless.

Gonna paint up your emeralds to look like Mirelurks?
