I've had my spot tail blenny for about a month or so...seems well acclimated to my 10 gal.nano reef...he had been spending most of his waking hours picking algae...he still does it but seems to be spending more time lying about...sometimes he even shows his sleeping, camo spots and lines...What think thee...belly worms?...or what or nothing...if so, is praziquantel the best stuff and is it reef safe as far as my live rock and inverts are concerned...all water #'s are the same and good...tank up since June...I am an obsessive worrier when it comes to my nano...advise please...

I would not use prazi in a reef. I would take him out and put him into a qt if you are that worried about it. I have one and mine goes into depressive phases for whatever reason. He was thoroughly qt and is parasite free, he's just a weirdo I suppose. How long has yours been acting like this?

A day or so...seems more lively this morning...am setting up a QT as we speak...we'll see if I need it for Benny.

Martini...still pretty lackadaisical...what do you feed your blennie?...mine mostly picks on tank algae...doesn't seem to interested in spirolina flakes or seaweed...he had been picking nearly non-stop...last couple of days, not so much...any suggestions?...Thanks:confused:

Mine picks the glass and rocks and also gets my sis, brine, flakes. Pretty much eats what the rest of the tank eats. Try mysis
