Well I was out over a year plus and just could not resist the temptation. I purchased a complete setup off a member from Orlando and am very happy with it. It's a little smaller than my dream tank but I want to take baby steps.

A little about the setup


- The tank is 32"x24"x20"T with starfire glass and external overflow. Inner dimensions is 60 gallons.
- Canopy is a floating canopy style with a lumenbright reflector and LED supplementation.
- Custom sump with built in fuge
- Skimz SK201 cone skimmer
- ACjr controller with DC8 and DC4
- autotopoff.com ATO
- eheim pump 1262

There will be a few system upgrades in the near future. I think I am going to upgrade to the apex controller. I will also be adding in some power heads to the mix. If anyone who has seen my tanks knows I like water movement. My last tank had 70-100x turnover per hour. I ran 10 times turnover thru the sump and the rest was power head driven.

I have to upload pictures of the tank from when I was setting it up. Power heads are not in yet but will be ordering them this week. Corals will not be here for a bit. Some have to heal up since I customized the packs :phone:

Good taste my friend. I have bought most of those from jared too. He sure has some quality stuff. Great guy to deal with as well. You definitley have to post some pics when you get all those awesome pieces in.

Look at getting just the apex brain and maybe the display and use the DC8 and DC4 on it I upgraded from the AC Jr and went that route. It's a little cheaper. Only downside is the older power strips won't give you voltage like the EB8's do. So I got one of those, too, since I needed more than 12 plugs anyways.

i have a friend looking for a controller so i might just upgrade the whole setup. i want to set a few alarms that are voltage based.
