My birdsnest fell into my rock flower anemone got it out and looks ok will it die?

Were there any parts that didn't go into the nem? BN's are pretty hardy. The dead parts won't reencrust over, but surviving parts should branch out new growth.

Yea only like 1/4 of it went in, if i notice it starting to look bad should I cut it off or" like with the dying spread" or just leave it?

Personally, I cut off the dead parts. They look better and grow better. The dead part can shade it also.

Ok cool its my second try at sps. So don't want to lose it. Thanks!

I've found that, besides good water parameters, the most important thing is to get the BN at the right level of light. I start them at the bottom and eventually they get to the very top. BN are very light loving.

thats also good to know. Just dont like losing corals or fish or inverts so I try to keep everything happy.
