SPS lighting acclimation question

hello everyone,

I am trying to figure out the best way to acclimate my Acros that are coming today to my light. I run a AI hydra 52 with supplemental T5 lighting. Par averages 500-550 top and 300 bottom. I planned on using the acclimation mode and reducing lights for a week by 50%. Would this work or is that time frame to short?

Just run the T5s for a few days... then bring the Hydras back in. There is no need to acclimate to the T5s... this is a LED phenonomen.
