SPS Recommendations

Hey all,
Curious to get you thoughts. I have limited space in my tank, fluval 13.5, for SPS and looking to get your recommendations on what I should take a look at. The Par at the top of my arch is 330 with good flow. Since it’s a small space and can only fit a couple pieces I want to reserve it for something really cool. I don’t really care on names and rarity, just looking for your favorites.

If you don't care about names. I will out some millis and nice tenius. Something that grows no so fast because your space is limited

There sre so many to choose from I would probably look at tank pics and find a couple that appeal to you and give them a try. I would avoid using vendor photos as examples because most are heavily edited not just taken under blue lights like they say. I have an acro dominant tank but can only remember the names of a few pieces. I'm terrible at keeping track of things like that.
@X-37B may be able to offer some suggestions, he has a lot of sticks in multiple tanks, some on the smaller side.

This is my SPS tank that I recently rearranged to open up for better flow which is something to keep in mind. Crowding can be a problem especially in a small tank.

Under more blue before rearranging. Be sure and avoid monticaps lol.

What light?
My 15"nano cube. 9.5g's total water.
Good acros to start, green slimer, digi montipora are two.
With the right light and growout plan you can grow any acro you want in that system.

I try to keep it on the easy SPS side. Stylophoras are nice, but they can grow pretty fast if they're happy, which will suck down your dKH. I also have really good luck with different montiporas and green slimer. Those corals are also cheaper to buy upfront. Also, I have no issues selling frags of the quick growing stylos on FB market place when they do need trimmed back. Not getting rich, but everything helps!

Also poccilipora. If you've never grown sps, it's a fast grower and it feels good the first time watching it grow to know you were successful.

However. They can drop polyps and spread through the tank like wildfire. It is also cool at first. But in a year or two you might not like the idea of one coral over taking the tank

Thank you for the advice. I have noticed that deals photos do look pretty intense with the colors.

I’m running the 12” ai blade. Here’s a photo of the tank. I currently have a Birdsnest and anacropora as a test.

Those were the two I was looking to start with. I currently have a Birdsnest and anacropora as test to see how they do. Was able to get the Birdsnest at a great price and the anacropora was actually a free mystery fragrance I got with a purchase.
