SPS releasing blue strings what is causing this and what is this? Might be just blue because of the light.

Might be mesenterial filaments. Often times for me doesn’t mean a thing. On a few occasions the acro didn’t do well and thinned out, but recovered.
 
They could be Acontial Filaments too. In any case, nobody knows 100% what is up. Some say feeding, some say stress. The only time that I have ever seen them is a stress response.
 
The majority of my acros do it when there is food in the water column.
