SPS Tank with EcoTech MP40's

I have you consider getting 2 more mp40s instead of gyres. You could place all the mp40s on the back glass. This what I did with my newest tank and it’s amazing how much cleaner it looks.

Just remember with gyres comes more frequent maintenace, slightly more Noise, and cords in the tank. It all depends how clean you want the tank to look


This is similar to what I did. 2 MP40s on the back glass and a gyre on the right side.
 
The flow was pretty good today with the Reef Crest mode ,, I raised one of the MP40 up just a tad ,, that helped the flow not hit the corals directly, I was also able to slide it back closer to the top of the scape were the SPS Corals are mounted at ,, I am going to watch it for a couple of days ,, see if I still like it ,, if not ,, more MP40s will be bought :) My Duncan isn't liking it to much, now it may be getting to much flow ,, its mounted on the back of my scape ,,
